Should the Maine football game be on local TV?

By Larry Mahoney, BDN Staff

ESPN has decided to promote its Internet service by putting this weekend’s Football Championship Subdivision playoff games, including the University of Maine’s game at Appalachian State, on Internet-only ESPN3.

As long as you have Time Warner Cable’s ESPN package, you can register to watch the game on ESPN3 on your computer unless you want to purchase the game on pay-per-view on the ESPN Game Plan package.

How to you feel about this? Do you mind watching the game on your computer; paying for it on pay-per-view or going to the Memorial Union or other restaurant-bar establishments that are televising it? Should the game be made available to local TV such as WABI of Bangor?
