BIDDEFORD, Maine — A 27-year-old Boston man was charged with selling crack cocaine in Biddeford, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Biddeford Police.

According to police, Daniel Brown, 27, from Boston was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. on Libby Lane in Biddeford and charged with Aggravated Trafficking in a Schedule W Drug.

The agencies say Brown has been under investigation in recent weeks after information was developed that he was traveling from Boston to Biddeford to sell crack.

Police seized 43 grams of crack cocaine, with an estimated street sale value of $5,000. This is the second time in two years that Brown has been arrested for selling crack. He was currently out on bail from a March 2010 arrest in Boston.

Brown is being held at the York County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in York County Superior Court on December 21.
