Should the Maine Principals’ Association play its regional soccer title games on fields with artificial turf?

That would follow the lead of field hockey and erase the potential for playing on a wet, frozen or slick grass surface. The Eastern Maine field hockey championship games are played on the artificial turf at Hampden Academy. But the Eastern Maine boys and girls soccer finals are played at the home field of the higher seed, which means grass fields in most cases. printed on August 20, 2017
