Circle of Learning preschool to hold open house

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Circle of Learning Development Preschool will host open houses to celebrate 10 years of serving children in Aroostook County from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at all three Circle of Learning locations in Aroostook County. The open houses are an opportunity to meet staff and visit therapeutic and educational classrooms. The Caribou locations are at 1137 Presque Isle Road and 713 Main St.; the third is located at 319 South Caribou Road in Fort Fairfield. For information, call Julianne at 493-3394.

3rd annual Monopoly Run set for Caribou

CARIBOU, Maine — The 3rd annual Mark D. LeBlanc Scholarship Monopoly Run will begin with 9 a.m. registration and departure at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Caribou High School Ski Lodge. The event will include prizes for the 3 top winners, a silent auction, 50-50 drawing, a raffle and a barbecue. The run is sponsored by the American Legion Riders of Caribou.

Caribou Parks and Rec accepting registration for fall soccer

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is now taking registrations for the fall soccer program for grades 1 and 2. The players meet 3-4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays, Sept. 6 through Oct. 6. Preregistration is required. For more information, call 493-4224.
