PORTLAND, Maine — Gasoline prices are continuing to decline in Maine.

Nationally, the average price decreased 1.4 cents to $3.58. Over the last month the national average price of gas dropped by 10.4 cents.

While the price of gas is declining, Maine gas prices are still 98.4 cents a gallon higher than they were last year at this time.
