Triple Crown Golf Challenge to benefit Pine Tree Hospice

DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — Pine Tree Hospice will hold the second and third parts of its Triple Crown Golf Challenge with events on July 23 and Aug. 13.

The golf challenge will start at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Katahdin Country Club in Milo and at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Foxcroft Golf Club in Dover-Foxcroft.

The event, which has an entry fee of $40 per person per course, helps fund the hospice’s operations throughout the year.

After the conclusion of the Aug. 13 challenge, 10 players will qualify for a shoot-out with a chance to win $50,000.
