Stephen King has announced the latest installment in his Dark Tower series, “The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole.” The novel will be published by Scribner Publishing and is expected to be available in April 2012.

The Dark Tower series, according to Amazon.com’s product description, follows hero Roland of Gilead, The Last Gunslinger, through parallel worlds and across time.

The book “won’t tell you much that’s new about Roland and his friends. It’s not going to change anybody’s life, but God, I had fun,” King said in the announcement letter.

The novel is available for pre-order, with an optional slipcover, on Cemetery Dance Publications’ website. For more information, including King’s announcement letter, or to order, visit www.cemeterydance.com/page/CDP/PROD/o_king77.
