Washington County Grand Jury indictments range from arson to criminal mischief

MACHIAS, Maine — Seventeen people were indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury Tuesday afternoon.

Those indicted were:

Joseph J. Hanson, 23, Calais, four counts of arson at Calais in 2009 and 2010.

Stuart A. Ray, 40, Milbridge, unlawful possession of drugs, falsifying physical evidence and violation of condition of release.

Nicholas Morse, 31, Cherryfield, three counts of burglary and three counts of unauthorized taking.

Wade Kearns, 32, Cherryfield, three counts of burglary and three counts of unauthorized taking.

Jeremy A. Farley, 22, Baring, arson, burglary and aggravated criminal mischief.

Christopher Cody Staples, 21, Calais, gross sexual assault and domestic violence assault.

Charles R. Kroll, 25, Calais, aggravated criminal trespass, domestic violence assault, criminal mischief.

Harold Tenney, 51, Columbia Falls, aggravated assault, two counts of unlawful trafficking of drugs, three counts of violation of condition of release, and criminal trespass.

Devin Brown, 31, Baileyville, burglary, aggravated criminal mischief, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, unlawful possession of drugs, criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools, and violation of condition of release.

Keith S. Small, 40, three counts of unlawful trafficking of drugs.

Marcus E. Townsend, 40, Calais, burglary, aggravated criminal mischief, criminal trespass, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, unlawful possession of drugs, and possession of burglary tools.

William E. Berube, 44, Baileyville, criminal trespass and theft by unauthorized taking.

Peter L. Richards, 52, Roque Bluffs, receiving stolen property.

Cody T. Reynolds, 20, Whitneyville, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

Jeremy Pottle, 31, Calais, domestic violence assault.

Todd A. Lawless, 28, Baring, domestic violence terrorizing and violation of a protective order.

Lorisa B. McKenney, 41, Addison, unlawful possession of drugs and violation of conditions of release.
