SANFORD, Maine — A man is facing charges after being apprehended by police following a drug store robbery in Springvale in which the suspect used a note to demand prescription drugs.
Sanford Police said that shortly after the 5:16 p.m. Tuesday robbery, 26-year-old Travis Bentley of Sanford was apprehended driving a car witnesses saw following the robbery.
Police said they do not believe Bentley was armed. And the note thought to have been used in the robbery was recovered.
Police said Bentley was taken to the York County Jail.
