Apprenticeshop demonstrates remote control model boat

The Apprenticeshop’s Waterfront Programs Director KC Heyniger demonstrates a 36-inch remote control model, Pro Boat Sanibel. Discover the wide world of ship modeling and remote control boating at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at The Apprenticeshop, 643 Main St. Examples of various types of models will be on hand, and long-time model boat builder and enthusiast Dave Blanchard, founder of the Ship Model Builders Club of Maine, will talk about building them. Bring your own boat or try one provided. Tickets are $5 at the door. A tour of current boat projects will be available after the program.
