NH debate includes 7 GOP hopefuls

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Seven Republican presidential hopefuls will share the stage in a debate in New Hampshire.

Monday’s debate at St. Anselm College will feature Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann; businessman Herman Cain; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich; Texas Rep. Ron Paul; former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty; former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney; and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

The debate’s sponsors — WMUR-TV, CNN and the New Hampshire Union Leader — also invited Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and businessman Donald Trump.

Daniels, Huckabee and Trump recently have said they would not seek the GOP nomination.

The debate will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
