FARMINGTON — Eric Sucy pitched seven shutout innings in leading Thomas College of Waterville to a 7-0 men’s baseball win over the University of Maine at Farmington in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader.
The Terriers also won the first game 4-1.
In the first game, Ben Goodall and Joshua Gray both had two singles and an RBI for the Terriers. Cody Vigue doubled and singled with a run scored.
Ian McAlister, Matt Levine and Jack MacVane each singled twice for UM-Farmington.
In the second game, Sucy scattered five hits, walked none and struck out five for Thomas. Vigue and Gray both doubled and singled with a run and an RBI. Jeff Richardson scored two runs.
Levine hit two singles and Connor McNeill doubled for the Beaver.

At Wenham, Mass., Sam Butts hit a double, a single and drove in five runs in powering Saint Joseph’s College of Standish to victory over Gordon College.
Ian Lee had two doubles, a single and three RBIs for the Monks. Chris Campbell scored three runs, Alex Markaskis doubled and singled with an RBI and Dan Achorn doubled and scored twice.
Eric Wolak homered with two RBIs to lead Gordon. Brian Harrington hit two singles.

Binghamton sweeps Maine
At Vestal, N.Y., Binghamton University scored twice in the fifth inning and a single run in the sixth to rally from a 5-3 deficit to beat the University of Maine 6-5 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Binghamton also won the second game 7-3.
In the first game, Deannie Plemon had two singles, two runs and three RBIs for Binghamton. Jessica Bumps had two doubles and two runs scored.
Kalie Burnham and Terren Hall each hit three singles and scored a run for the Black Bears. Jennifer Eberhardt added two singles and three runs.
In the second game, Jessica Phillips, Meghan Tucker and Plemon all homered for Binghamton.
Terren Hall hit a three-run home run in the sixth for the Black Bears. Jennifer Eberhardt singled and scored.

At Bangor, Aimee Mortensen hit a double, a single, scored two runs and knocked in three runs in leading Husson University to a 10-2 victory over Lyndon State College in the nightcap.
The Eagles also won the first game 5-1.
In the first game, Brianna Webster hit two doubles and drove in a run for Husson. Dorothy Cameron doubled with two RBIs and Kristen Sousa had two singles.
Chelsea Watson and Tia Billado both singled three times for Lyndon State.
Sarah Risser had a double, two singles and two RBIs for Husson. Kara Poirier doubled and singled with two runs and Courtney Hill chipped in two singles and two runs.
