Planned power interruption set for Hermon

HERMON, Maine — Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. has announced a planned interruption in service on Tuesday, March 22, that will affect customers in Hermon.

The three-hour interruption, slated to begin about 8:30 a.m., will affect the Edgewater Road and Greeks Landing Road areas and is needed to allowed crews to replace and upgrade poles and transfer lines, Bangor Hydro said. In the event of rain, the interruption will be postponed to the following day.

Customers with questions or concerns should call Bangor Hydro’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-499-6600 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
