DEXTER, Maine — A 4-year-old Dexter girl was evaluated by ambulance personnel Wednesday after the vehicle she was a passenger in rolled over on Route 94.

The child’s mother, Sarah Curtis, 21, of Dexter, lost control of her 1996 Jeep on the sanded but slush-covered Garland Road and it rolled onto its roof, Sgt. Kevin Wintle of the Dexter Police Department said Wednesday.

Wintle said neither Sarah Curtis nor another passenger, her sister Andrea Curtis, 18, was injured in the 10:50 a.m. accident. Sarah’s daughter, 4, was checked out by Mayo Regional Ambulance personnel at the scene. She required no treatment, Wintle said

The Jeep had significant damage, he said.

Dexter firefighters also went to the scene.
