LePage plans to live in Blaine House

AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine Gov.-elect Paul LePage says he’ll be moving to the Blaine House in Augusta. But he may not do it right away after he’s sworn into office.

LePage lives 20 miles away in Waterville. So it might be tempting to remain at home, like Angus King did when he continued to live in his home in Brunswick while he served as governor.

LePage says he plans to move to the Blaine House, currently occupied by John Baldacci. But he says he may wait until spring, when his wife returns from Florida.

LePage will be sworn into office in January.
