VAN BUREN – Emily Rose Desjardins and Riley James Lizotte were married on July 24, 2010, in a ceremony officiated by Father Bill Labbe at St. Bruno’s Catholic Church, St. Peter Chanel Parish, in Van Buren. A reception was held after the ceremony in the Lizottes’ backyard. The bridal party included friend of the bride Whitney Jandreau of Presque Isle as maid of honor; cousins of the bride Catherine Sirois of Winslow and Megan LaJoie of Van Buren as bridesmaids; friend of the groom Logan Ouellette of Van Buren as best man; and cousin of the groom Matt Labbe of Livermore Falls and friend of the groom Davis Mercier of Fayette as groomsmen. Emily is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Norma Desjardins of Mapleton. She is a 2007 graduate of Presque Isle High School and will graduate from the University of Maine in Orono with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 2011. Riley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James and Dedra Lizotte of Van Buren. He is a 2007 graduate of Van Buren District Secondary School and will graduate from Husson University in Bangor with a doctorate in pharmacy in 2013. Emily and Riley spent their honeymoon in Bermuda and now reside in Bangor. The couple and their parents would like to thank all their family and friends for sharing in this joyful celebration.
