ST. ALBANS, Maine — The town is seeking residents interested in public service to fill vacancies on two municipal committees.
Town Manager Rhonda Stark said she is gathering letters of interest for seats on the town’s planning board and appeals board between now and Sept. 27. Deborah Bell and Kenneth Dutton recently resigned from the planning and appeals boards, respectively, each citing personal reasons for their departures.
Both boards have enough members to continue operating, but Stark said town officials hope to fill the vacancies as soon as possible. The Board of Selectmen is responsible for making appointments to both committees.
Letters of interest should be delivered to Stark at the town office by the close of business Monday, Sept. 27.
