CARIBOU – Jane Andrews, 96, wife of the late Bernie Andrews, died May 16, 2010, in Caribou. She was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Caribou, daughter of Gelas “Henry” and Elizabeth (Damboise) Brissette. She was employed at Potato Service for many years until her retirement. Jane was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was also a member of Ladies of St. Anne. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She is survived by a son, Roger Andrews and his wife, Theresa, of Caribou; a grandson, Mark Andrews and his wife, Cheryl, and their children, Elizabeth and Lindsey Andrews; a granddaughter, Susan Richard and her husband, Gene, and their children, Kellyn and Emma Richard; a granddaughter, Christine Davidson and her husband, R.J.; a daughter, Arlene Gaunce and her husband, Ron, of Caribou, and their children, Scott and Ryan McCullough; and a sister-in-law, Eldene Brissette. She was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Rodney Andrews; and all her other brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Reginald Brissette and Father Clement Thibodeau officiating in a Mass of Christian burial.
