DANFORTH – Albion Leroy Cropley, 84, died Feb. 24, 2010, in Augusta. He was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Danforth, the son of Walter and Ann (Erhardt) Cropley. He was an Army veteran and a carpenter for many years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann (Holden) Cropley; four brothers, John Crone, Robert Crone Sr. and his wife, Veronica, Carl Crone and his wife, Juanita, and Walter Crone, all of Danforth; sister, Anna Maria Rhoads and her husband, Bob, of Texas; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jean Blais. He was predeceased by his siblings, Charlotte, Marguerite, Helen and Charles. Graveside services will be held in June. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in Albion’s memory to Visiting Nurses of Aroostook, 2 Water St., Suite 1, Houlton, ME 04730. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.
