SHERMAN – Kenneth “Kenny” McNally, 50, died Feb. 22, 2010, in Massachusetts. He was born May 21, 1959, in Island Falls, the son of Earl and Lucy (McAvoy) McNally. Kenny was a graduate of Katahdin High School, Class of 1977, was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church and was a past grand knight of Bishop Benedict Council of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his father of Patten and his mother of Monticello, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Holly (O’Roak) McNally of Sherman; one son, Josh McNally and his wife, Jesse, of Burlington and their children, Shannon, Matilynn and EvieJo; one daughter, Jessica Cullen and her husband, Benjamin, of Patten and their daughters, Lilly, Maizy and Avery; brothers and sisters, Joe and Marie, David and Collette, Brian and Tammy, Timmy and Renee, Theresa and Dale Jameson, Trina and Phil Lento; his mother-in-law, Joan O’Roak; several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; his peanut butter cup pal, Molly; and his dog, Pheobe. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Benedicta, with Father Joel Cyr, celebrant. A spring interment will be at St. Benedict’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherman PeeWee Basketball League, care of Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 579, Houlton, ME 04730.
