HERMON – Mary Elizabeth Kelley, 90, wife of the late Gerald Kelley, passed away Feb. 16, 2010, at a Brewer health care facility after a long illness. She was born Nov. 20, 1919, in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, the daughter of Stanley and Laney (Miller) Waugh. Mary grew up in Washburn, moving to Bangor after high school and attended Maine School of Commerce before marrying Jerry. She is survived by two daughters, Judy and her husband, Merwyn Lovley, of Hermon and Lake Worth, Fla., and Candy and her husband, Fred Beylerian, of Hermon; two grandsons, Mike Beylerian and his wife, Brandy, of Levant and Andy Beylerian and his wife, Misty, of Hermon; three great-grandsons, Cole, Connor and Alex; half brother, James Waugh; a special sister-in-law and friend, Amy Waugh; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, John and Clinton Waugh; two half sisters, Dorothy Pickett and Joyce Reed; and a dear sister-in-law, Reona (Diddy) Pyzynski. The daughters would like to say a special thank you to Rose at Brewer Rehab for her loving care. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor of Hermon Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of service. Spring interment will be at Snows Corner, Hermon.
