DOVER-FOXCROFT – Lincoln Eldridge Kitchin, 74, died Feb. 12, 2010, at home. Lincoln lived in White Plains, Md., for 31 years with his wife. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years, and then went to work as a customer engineer with IBM, retiring after 35 years of service. He was predeceased by his parents, Lelia (Hanson) Kitchin and Esmond Alton Kitchin; his brother, Robert Kitchin; and his sister, Marguerite Huntington. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Kitchin; one daughter, Cindy and her husband, Bill Cavanaugh; two sons, Kevin and his wife, Cheryl Kitchin, and Glen Kitchin; grandchildren, Kaeley, Raelyn, Jackson and Aiden; one brother, Esmond Kitchin Jr.; and one sister, Phyllis Rankin. Relatives and friends are invited to visit 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Md., where a funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
