MILLINOCKET – Kathleen Isabelle Walls, 87, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at a Millinocket health care facility. She was born Feb. 24, 1922, in Millinocket, the daughter of Mellon and Eva (Cyr) King. Kathleen was a homemaker. She also was a member of Daughters of Isabella and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Millinocket. For a period of time she worked part time at Katahdin Federal Credit Union, where she was teased pretty well for watering the plastic plants on more than one occasion because they looked so real. Kathleen was predeceased by her first husband, George Raymond, to whom she was married for more than 25 years; her second husband, Donald Walls; and her brother, Kenneth King. She is survived by her children, Nancy Parliament of Anchorage, Alaska, Pam Hatcher, and her husband, Carl, of Texas and Jeffrey Raymond of Millinocket; grandchildren, Shane and Scott Pelletier, and Adam Parliament, all of New York, Andrew and Audra Corcoran, both of Texas, and Mary Catherine and Chelsea Raymond, both of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Katahdin Health Care for the wonderful care extended to Kathleen. Friends are invited to visit with the family 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where a rosary service will be conducted 10 a.m. by the officers and members of Daughters of Isabella, Little Flower Circle. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, 19 Colby St., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
