DIXMONT – Priscilla M. White, 83, wife of the late Carroll E. White, passed away Feb. 2, 2010, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Aug. 12, 1926, in Brewer, daughter of the late Eugene and Marion (Pearden) Elliott. Since 1963, Priscilla lived in Dixmont where she and her husband, Carroll, operated a dairy farm. She enjoyed being a homemaker and raising their son, Edward. Priscilla enjoyed going to grange meetings, was a member of Ladies Club of Dixmont and Red Hat Society of Brooks. Priscilla loved doing crafts, feeding the birds, cooking and baking, especially baking pies. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. She is survived by her son, Edward E. White and his wife, Wanda, of Dixmont; two granddaughters, Jasmin Soucie Brown and husband, Michael Brown, of Georgia, and Andrea White and her fiance, Rob Hatch, of Plymouth; five great-grandchildren, Michael Walker, Ethan Walker, Olivia Simpson, Rion Hatch, Elizabeth Hatch, and a new great-grandbaby to be born in August 2010 to Jasmin and Michael; sister-in-law, Madelyn White Carlisle and her husband, Lester; a brother-in-law, Robert Mott of Ellsworth; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll, in 1989; and a sister-in-law, Priscilla Mott. A graveside service will be held in the springtime at a date and time to announced by Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
