MARY CASE BIRD

TEMPE, Ariz. – Mary Case Bird, 96, died Jan. 12, 2010. She was born in Everett, Wash. Mary retired from the Bangor school system as a kindergarten teacher. She was a longtime Orono resident and a member of Church of Universal Fellowship. She is survived by sons, Frederick H. Bird of Ellington, Conn., David F.K. Bird of Kailua, Hawaii, Alan L. Bird of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Hong W. Tan of Sewalls Point, Fla.; cousin, Persis Shook of Tacoma, Wash.; nieces, nephews, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Tempe Mortuary, Tempe, Ariz.
