Climate change doubters are pointing to a batch of hacked emails from a leading university center studying the matter which suggest scientists have exaggerated or “spun” their findings to support their thesis that the atmosphere is warming. Does this strongly suggest that climate change is not happening? Do some in government and higher education have motives for suggesting there is climate change when there may not be sufficient evidence to support the claim? Or is this a red herring offered by skeptics?
Is there evidence that climate change is a hoax?
