Police charge Bangor men in drug case

Employees of Hollywood Slots notified Bangor police of some suspicious behavior outside the facility late Wednesday and when officers arrived they found two Bangor residents in possession of diverted prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia, Sgt. Bob Bishop said Thursday.

Crystal Wardwell, 25, and Russell Graves, 22, both of Bangor, were found in possession of a variety of prescription pills, hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia, Bishop said.

Both were charged with possession of diverted prescription pills and drug paraphernalia at 11:21 p.m. Wednesday and taken to Penobscot County Jail. They later were released, a jail official said. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)

Bangor police officers arrested a Bangor teen Wednesday morning after he got upset while they were serving him court documents, Sgt. Bob Bishop said Thursday.

Alexander Fournier, 18, “was given numerous warnings” to calm down before police arrested him for disorderly conduct, Bishop said. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and later released, a jail official said. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
