How will the high court rule on marijuana?

The state Supreme Court will hear a case brought by marijuana legalization advocate Don-ald Christen appealing his conviction for cultivating the plant. The case may hinge on the medical marijuana law approved by Maine voters in 1999. Should state government interfere less in the dispensing of marijuana for medical treatment? Or are marijuana advocates hiding behind the medicinal use of the plant? Should the state tackle a revamping of marijuana laws?
