Maine couple was divorcing at time of stabbing

WESTBROOK, Maine — Police say a Westbrook couple found stabbed to death was going through a divorce. Detectives hope autopsies Wednesday will determine who was responsible.

State and Westbrook police say the bodies of 45-year-old Kenneth Taylor and his 43-year-old wife, Belinda Taylor, were found Tuesday afternoon in their home on Juniper Lane.

Steve McCausland of the Maine Department of Public Safety says detectives believe no one else was involved in the stabbings.

The two bodies were found in the living room. They were discovered by the couple’s 12- and 14-year-old daughters.
