AMHERST – Lorraine M. Dusing, 59, wife of the late Reginald Dusing, died April 18, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 19, 1949, in Gardiner, the daughter of Theodore and Mae (Hudson) Getchell. Lorraine graduated from Gardiner High School and worked as a certified nurse’s aide for 40 years. She is survived by her son, Michael Boutin Jr. of Skowhegan; two daughters, Sue Jones and her husband, Jack, of Aurora and Victoria Bailey of Deland, Fla.; two brothers, Phillip Getchell and his wife, Tammy, of Geneva, Fla., and Robert Getchell and his wife, Lorna, of Farmingdale; one sister, Eileen Hinkley and her husband, Robert, of West Gardiner; five grandchildren, Rob, Nick, Felicia, Christian and Wendy; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Brody; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Theodore “Teddy” Getchell Jr. and Lee Getchell. Services will be private for the family.
