IRENE DOW MILBRIDGE – Irene Dow, 76, went to be with the Lord April 18, 2009, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Milbridge, the daughter of Curtis and Lavinia (Tracy) Beal. She enjoyed playing Beano, going to Hollywood Slots and especially spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lawrence Dow; two daughters, Sally Robbins and her husband, Jamie, of Harrington and Paula Perry and her husband, Clifford, of Cherryfield; three sons, Lawrence Dow Jr. of Dracut, Mass., Richard Dow and his wife, Susan, of Columbia and Robert Dow and his wife, Dawn, of Milbridge; 11 grandchildren, Wayne, Denise, Dennis, Daniel, Katyln, Kymberli, Krista, Robert Jr., Sara, Sonja and Donald; and four great-grandchildren, Kaylie, James, Adam and Gabreal. She is also survived by one brother, Curtis Beal and his wife, Gloria, of Milbridge; two sisters, Barbara Perry and her husband, Carroll, of Addison and Lorita Tucker and her husband, Nathan, of Milbridge; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Beal of Milbridge; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Timothy Dow; a brother, Roger Beal; and one sister, Pauline Beal. A service of remembrance will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Main Street, Milbridge.
