INDIAN ISLAND – Cecelia R. Lundin, 56, died peacefully April 15, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 3, 1952, in Waterville, a daughter of Eugene Tomer and Margaret Tomer Fleming. Cecelia was a member of the Penobscot Indian Nation. She enjoyed bingo and crocheting, and loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Rudolph Lundin; three children, Charlotte Stammell of Fryeburg, Anita Tomer-Phillips of Indian Island and Peter Stevens Jr. of Indian Island; many grandchildren; and a brother, Calvin Tomer of Lewiston. She was predeceased by her first husband, Peter Stevens Sr.; her mother, Margaret Fleming; her twin sister, Cathy Pearl; as well as many other siblings. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Indian Island, with the Rev. Thomas Farley, celebrant. Interment will be at Tribal Cemetery, Indian Island.
