MILO – William E. “Booboo” Rolfe, 76, husband of the late Charlene (Kelley) Rolfe, died April 13, 2009, at his residence. He was born July 2, 1932, in Brownville, the son of Lawrence “Bud” and Jennie (Ellis) Rolfe. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Booboo had worked as a deputy sheriff for Piscataquis County. He also worked many years for Bangor and Aroostook Railroad and Canadian-Pacific Railroad, and was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Pleasant River Lodge No. 163 AF & AM and Joseph P. Chaisson American Legion Post No. 41. He is survived by a son, Michael of Norway; two daughters, Christine Coffin and her husband, Scott, of Bangor, and Jean Pratt and her husband, Larry, of Newburgh; six grandchildren, Willie and Whitney Rolfe, Matthew and Michael Priestman, and Kyle and Sarah Pratt; and a brother, Frederick Rolfe of Derby. He was predeceased by a grandson, Eric Pratt. He will be remembered by many special friends and family members. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 27, in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor David Mumford officiating.
