BANGOR and BREWER – Gil H. Weber, 64, died April 13, 2009, in Bangor. He was born Sept. 26, 1944, in Bangor, the son of Fred and Catherine (Jameson) Weber. Gil graduated from John Bapst High School, Class of 1963. Gil was a very active businessman, working in the banking, automobile and insurance industries, and most recently owner of Weber Mortgage Co. He was a devote communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Brewer, serving as a Eucharistic minister and in many other church activities. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Crockett) Weber of Brewer; two sons, Sean and his partner, Danny and children, Nicholas, Emily and Lucas, of Brewer; and Erin and his wife, Deannine Weber and their son, Quinn, of Chicago; one brother, Larry and his wife, Yvonne Weber, of Bangor; one sister, Georgia Benson of Kirkland, Wash.; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Warren and Harriett Arbo of Eddington, Edith Tesseo of Brewer, Ruth Mishio of Florida, and Debbie and Mike Reed of Old Town; his beloved aunt, Christina Jameson of Bangor; and two special cousins, Gil and Jill Jameson of Ellsworth. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Roland Nadeau, Roman Catholic chaplain of St. Joseph Catholic Hospital, officiating. Interment will be afterward at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
