Trump has done it again. His dismissal of Khloe Kardashian was completely uncalled for and The Man on the Couch and I are in total disgust.

A quick recap: Donald Trump was faced with a tough decision on whom to dismiss during this week’s “Celebrity Apprentice.” In the end, he didn’t even let the team speak and simply dismissed Kardashian after he learned she was absent for a portion of the previous week’s task because she was taking care of a legal matter.

First of all, if Trump was going to dismiss her for being convicted of driving under the influence, he should have done his homework in the first place. Who casts a show and doesn’t do a background check? I don’t care if your contestants are celebrities or not.

Now don’t take this the wrong way, I am in no way condoning Ms. Kardashian’s behavior. Driving under the influence is a serious offense, but when someone already is taking responsibility for their actions, do they really need to be punished in an unrelated situation?

Last week, he got rid of Dennis Rodman after a boardroom intervention because of Rodman’s alleged drinking problem. The difference is that while Rodman’s issues spilled over into the competition, Kardashian has stepped up and was doing the responsible thing. Her charity for the competition, the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness, even shows this.

Donald, we’re disappointed.

Speaking of disappointed, I’m ready for a letdown with Bravo’s newest “Real Housewives” series set in New Jersey.

I missed this week’s special preview, but did manage to catch a clip on Bravo’s Web site and although I wasn’t too impressed, I’m sure I’ll eventually be sucked in. After all, it is “Real Housewives” and this season’s tag line is “The hair is big, but the drama is bigger.”

As an ’80s child, I am drawn to big hair. And there’s sure to be drama in a show that follows two sisters who married two brothers.
