LEAVENWORTH, Kan., and BANGOR – Donald Bertrand Timon, 51, of Leavenworth, Kan., passed away Monday, March 23, 2009. Donald was born Sept. 5, 1957, in Bangor, the son of Reginald and Margaret Ann (Peirce) Timon of Leavenworth, Kan., and Maurice and Maxine Knowles of Newburgh. Donald served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Leavenworth Army Base as a civilian. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, carpentry and redoing furniture. Donald is survived by two daughters, Julie and Robby Boatwright, and Jessica and Millard Wilkins; two sons, Jason and Vanessa Timon, and Donald and Mandy Timon; 15 grandchildren; seven sisters, Donna and David Trinkle, Esther and Mike Jones, Gina and David Owens, Melody and special brother-in-law, Craig Ryan, Missy and Eddie Pinkham, Linda and James Landers, and Regina and Bill Ellingwood; two brothers, Maurice Jr. and Clare Knowles, and Matthew Knowles and companion, Holly Millett; and their families; his companion, Dawn Ekstrown of Leavenworth, Kan.; two very good friends, Art and David; two uncles, Donald and Phillip Peirce; two cousins, Debbie Hall and Ron Thurston; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by grandparents, Bertrand and June Knowles, Donald and Beatrice Peirce, and Esther and James Timon; and a niece, Marissa Pinkham.
