The George W. Bush legacy — misunderstood in his time?

Will George W. Bush be seen 25 years from now as a leader who made unpopular but necessary decisions? Will he get credit for keeping the U.S. safe from terrorism? Will the invasion of Iraq trigger a remaking of a more peaceful and democratic Middle East? Or will Mr. Bush be seen, as critics now charge, as the worst president of the last 75 years?
