BANGOR – D. Aldana (Coburn) Breau, RN, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at a Brewer health care facility. She was born Nov. 28, 1926, in Brownville Junction, the daughter of Thomas and Stella (Swan) Coburn. Aldana was very proud of her nursing career and was a member of EMGH/EMMC/Husson Nurses Alumni Association. She was an avid knitter and loved her two cats, Chauncey and Perky, one of which passed the same day and will make the journey with her. Aldana is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jeremiah Breau; daughters, Nancy Breau of Bangor, and Marilyn Renfro and her husband, William, of Bangor; grandchildren, Robert Mathews, Sara Tracy, Nicholas Renfro and Devin Renfro; and great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Christopher, Sebastian, Tyler, Skylar and Connor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Robert T. Breau; brothers, Earl, Donald and Harry Coburn; and sisters, Mildred Berg and Sarah Coburn. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17.
