5 new state troopers graduate from academy

VASSALBORO, Maine — Five new state troopers are ready to hit the road after graduating from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

The new troopers received their badges Friday after being sworn in by State Police Col. Patrick Fleming.

The new troopers have been assigned to patrol in Waldo County, in southern Aroostook County, in Androscoggin County, in York County and in the Lincoln-Millinocket region.
