UMaine climate conference to be streamed online

The University of Maine in Orono will hold a two-day conference later this month, bringing together local and international experts to discuss the implications of global warming on Maine.

The conference on Oct. 23 and 24 will feature numerous faculty members from UMaine’s Climate Change Institute as well as professors and researchers from other areas of the university. Paul Mayewski, director of the Climate Change Institute and a world-renowned expert on the issue, is the conference’s lead organizer.
