LINNEUS – Robert W. McEwen, 55, died April 3, 2006, at Houlton. He was born March 7, 1951, in Lincoln, the son of John and Luella (Cook) McEwen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during Vietnam. He is survived by one daughter, Melissa McEwen of Linneus; nine brothers and sisters, Violet and her husband, Jeff Caron, of Wytopitlock, John “Jack” McEwen Jr. and his wife, Connie, of Danforth, Larry McEwen of Linneus, Stanley McEwen of Danforth, Jeff and his wife, Carlean McEwen, of Danforth, Barbara Ulitsch and her husband, Nelson, of Linneus, Roger McEwen of Houlton, Judy McEwen of Old Orchard Beach, Jeannette Mailman of Van Buren; 48 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins; a loving friend, Bandit. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister, Shirley Rollins; one brother, Dale McEwen. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Bernie and the Rev. Elaine Jordan officiating. Interment will be in the Wytopitlock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 579, Houlton ME 04730.
