BANGOR – Juanita F. Dauphinee, 77, died July 22, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1926, in Bangor, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Adeila (Whitfort) Pennette. She was a past president and member of the Democrat Woman’s Party and worked tirelessly at the polls and in the election campaigns. Juanita was actively involved with St. Teresa’s Catholic Church as well as involved in the community. She worked with adult foster care in doing residential housing for developmentally disabled adults. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Dauphinee of Bangor; four daughters and their husbands, Francine and Lloyd Pease of Frankfort, Valerie and Rene Morneault of Eddington, Bonita and Michael Russell of Alton, Lisa and William Monroe of Bangor; 12 grandchildren, Doreen and her husband, Timothy Kenney, Christopher Pease and his wife, Donna, Brian Pease and his wife, Dawn, Steven, Nicole, Jordan, and Adam Dauphinee, Michael, Charlie and Thomas Russell, Zackery and Alisha Monroe; two nephews, Glen and Richard Simpson; and a very special personal friend, Kathy Perceival of Bangor. She was predeceased by two sons, Carl and Anthony Dauphinee. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor, with The Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, celebrant. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
