FORT FAIRFIELD – Mrs. Ella M. Boulier, 86, wife of the late William “Bud” Boulier, died Saturday morning, July 24, 2004, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following and extended illness. She was born July 11, 1918, at Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Lavoie) Michaud of Sheridan. Ella was married to William “Bud” Boulier on Nov. 7, 1935, and was a communicant of the St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Ella was predeceased by one granddaughter, Carla Jean Boulier; one grandson, Daniel Paul Boulier; and one great-grandson, Brian Wulf; four sisters, Eva King, Rose Archer, Delina Marquis, Bertha York; one daughter-in-law, Marie (wife of Philip Boulier). She is survived by two sons, Philip “Bill” Boulier, Gilbert Boulier and his wife, Donna, all of Manorville, N.Y.; one daughter, Jeanette “Sis” Wulf and her husband, Wayne “Red,” of Ashland; six grandchildren, Debbie, Philip and William Boulier, Mike Wulf, Lori Corey, Jon Paul Boulier; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Corey, Daniel Boulier, Jacob Boulier, Brittany Corey, Alexander Boulier; two stepgrandchildren, Frank Lisa and Donna Marie Balacki; two step-great-grandchildren, There’ Lisa and Nichole Pieana; one great-great-grandson, Chaylor Rakozy; one brother, Joseph “O’Neil” Michaud and his wife, Peggy, of Stuart, Fla.; six sisters, Clara Snow and Edith O’Clair, both of Fort Fairfield, Blanche Campbell of Long Branch, N.J., Cecile Marie Ouellette of Ashland, Dorothy Knox of Presque Isle, Theresa Carney and her husband, Richard, of Sheridan; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at the St. Denis Catholic Church, 143 main St., Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. David Raymond celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of fellowship with refreshments will be held at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield, immediately following the interment. In lieu of flowers, Contributions in memory of Mrs. Boulier may be given to the Jefferson Cary Foundation, P.O. Box 89, Caribou, ME 04736-9902. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
