BUCKSPORT – Edward F. “Casey” Copp died April 12, 2004, at a Bangor hospital from complications of lung cancer. He was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Jamaica Plain, Mass. He was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, often designing and building his own motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing in particular. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Phyllis; his daughters, Debra and her husband, Joseph Bouchard, of Arundel, and Doreen and her husband, Michael Campbell, of Annapolis, Md.; his sons, Michael and Kevin Copp, both of Bucksport; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and David Bouchard, Eric and week old, Ryan Campbell; four brothers, Daniel of Oregon, Shawn, Jerry and Chris; two sisters, Dena and Lorraine, all of Massachusetts; and a very special sister, Sandra and her husband, Richard, of Bucksport; many nieces, nephews and close family friends. His parents, Margaret and Albert Copp and his brother, Richard, predeceased him. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, where a funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating.
