BANGOR – Donna Jean (Doyle) McLaughlin, 58, wife of Dale E. McLaughlin, passed away at her Bangor home, April 11, 2004, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1945, in Machias, the daughter of Donald and Ada (Schoppee) Doyle Donna is survived by her husband, Dale; her son, Darren Stover; daughter, Danielle Stover and her two daughters, Mikayla Love and Harmony Legassie; sons, Geoffrey King and wife, Sandy and their two daughters, Megan and Courtney; Michael King and wife, Deborah, and their son, Kamron. She was predeceased by her parents; and sisters, Janice (Doyle) Freer and Anne (Doyle) Hayward; and a brother, Donald Doyle. Donna was loved by many and the family would especially like to thank her friends, Frannie Cammack, Nadine Henry; and her neighbor and friend, Brenda Durant. Her family also extends thanks to the people of Hospice of EMMC, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Boston for their help with Donna’s brave and courageous battle with cancer. Also thanks to the American Red Cross, UNICEL of Bangor, UPS of Wells, the U.S. Navy and everyone else who helped Donna and her family. Donna had many relatives and friends who will miss her a great deal. Friends who wish may make contributions to the family. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, with the Rev. Rudolph Leveille officiating.
