ST. DAVID – Dale Patrick Gendreau, 38, went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2004, in Edmu-ndston, New Brunswick. He was born March 25, 1966, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, the son of Fernand and Louise (Albert) Gendreau. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and nature. He was employed by the family-owned and operated trucking company, Albert Farms of Madawaska. Dale had served for four years with the U.S. military and was a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his special companion, Karen Peletier of St. Francois, New Brunswick; one brother, Brian Gendreau and his fiancee, Tina Levesque, of Madawaska; one sister, Brenda Griffin and her husband, Mike, of Enfield, N.H.; his maternal grandparents, Elmo and Juliet Albert; and paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lucille Gendreau, all of St. David; several aunts and uncles; one niece; two nephews; also many friends, including his fellow truck drivers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. David Church. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. David Cemetery later in the spring.
