WOODLAND – Clarence McBreairty, 68, died April 12, 2004, at Caribou. He was born March 22, 1936, in Allagash, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Hughes) McBreairty. He served with the U.S. Army and was a member of the Caribou United Baptist Church. Clarence was employed by Simon Trucking for many years and was also a logger for a number of years. He married Lola (Jackson) McBreairty, who predeceased him July 18, 2003. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall and Barbara McBreairty of Waterford, Conn., and Mitchell and Beth McBreairty of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Cleta Ann McBreairty of Caribou, Jodi and Steve Allen of Stuart, Fla., Cheryl and Donald Clayton of Caribou, Leona and Neil Damboise of Terryville, Conn., and Terrylee and Guy Massey of Bay Springs, Miss.; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Eldina and Pat Jandreau of St. Francis, Leona Burt of Lake Charles, La., Beverly and Roger Raymond of Fort Kent, and Kathy and Chester Graves of Fort Fairfield; nine grandchildren, Cory, Justin, Nicole, Casey, Paul, Marcie, Chad, Darren and Madison. Mr. McBreairty was predeceased by two brothers, Henry and Donald; and two sisters, Judy Cyr and Hilda Johnston. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday at the Caribou United Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in Clarence’s memory may do so through the family.
