With marathoner’s help, Brooklin teen hopes to beat brain cancer

Students and staff at Deer Isle-Stonington High School hold a pep rally Wednesday May 14, 2014, to help boost the spirits of Brandon Higgins, 18, of Brooklin. Higgins has an inoperable brain tumor and, with the help of a school administrator who plans to run in the Sugarloaf Marathon this weekend, is trying to raise awareness of brain cancer.
