Resident of new Stonecrest senior housing development in Standish describes sense of community

Retired Rev. Norman Rust, who first moved to the Standish area in the 1960s to head a local church, returned with his wife to live in Avesta Housing's Stonecrest development. Rust said that in addition to the financial benefits of living in a subsidized housing development, the Stonecrest project has created a sense of community among its residents, who face aging together and plan regular activities, such as movie nights and BINGO games.
