New York snowmobilers make long drive for Maine’s deep snow

David Douglas and Ian Danforth, both of upstate New York, drove 10 hours with friends and family to experience Maine's 2013-2014 banner snowmobile season. Douglas was shooting with a helmet cam and helped Danforth get out of the deep snow while riding south of Grand Ilse headed toward Van Buren on Sunday, Jan. 5.
